Medical Bills for James Kuykendall

Spende geschützt
In March, James was having chest pains, so he went to see his doctor. After a complete blood workup, three trips to a cardiologist, two trips to a neurologist, and an ultrasound of his liver, he was diagnosed with type 2 diabetes and gallstones. His gallbladder was removed, and the surgeon noticed a spot on his liver. He performed a biopsy, and a week later, James was in the doctor's office receiving the news that he has cancer.

The tumor in his liver is a neuroendocrine carcinoma that has metastasized from some other point. He met with his surgical oncologist at UAB and the report was very good! The primary tumor seems to have dissolved on its own, and the tumor in his liver is operable. The surgeon feels certain he can remove approximately 1/4 of his liver and get it all with very little chance of it returning. James still has a fight ahead of him, but his chance of survival is very good! However, he will have a lot of medical expenses, and he has had to miss a lot of work.

That's where you come in! James Kuykendall has given so much to his community and to NACC Theatre. It is time we return the favor. With your help, we can make James's financial burden a little lighter. James has been giving a voice to our musicals as vocal director for over 11 years, and we now have the opportunity to do something for him. Let's show our love and gratitude for James by giving him support in his time of need.
