Medical bills for first responder

My name is Sidney, and I have been a paid EMT for 1.5 years and a volunteer firefighter for 5 years. I recently underwent testing for a cardiac issue, something I have an extensive family history of. Fortunately, I seem to be in the clear but have extensive bills from being tested as well as wearing a cardiac monitor.
