medical bills after cancer surgery
Donation protected
I have been overwhelmed with the threats of credit reporting, collections and bill collection phone calls for the bills I owe from my surgery in March of this year. I was diagnosed with a cancerous mass in my colon for which I had a partial colectomy done. I am thankful that it was successful. I am now trying to pay the pass due amounts of approximately approximately $5000. When I have 8 different bills from this surgery. Whenever I try to explain that I cannot pay more than $25- $50 per payment, am told that I will be sent to collections. I work $480 weekly before taxes and deductions and I have other living expenses. I am thankful for the successful removal by the wonderful team at Doctor's community hospital and the others who played their part. I want to live up to my obligations but the time has ran out and now am pass due everything. Please help me clear up this bill. I am alive!!
