Meet Vos~
K9 Vos retired from the St. John Police Department in February of this year.
Like most of us, Vos was ready to enjoy his retirement!!
Within days of retiring, Vos started to show signs of concern with his health. After several appointments, many ultra sounds and exploring different types of medications, Doctors are now hoping to rule out prostate cancer. Once this is ruled out possible surgery would be the next course of action to remove the mass that appears to be in his prostate.
Vos' handler, Sgt. Anderson, is now responsible for Vos' medical bills and in the last week alone has racked up approximately $1,500.00. This is just the start to what we hope is a road to recovery.
I want to help these two as much as possible!! I'm hoping the community can come together and raise at least $5,000 to aid with any cost for Sgt. Anderson and his BEST FRIEND!!
ALL extra money raised will go to "Dogs on Duty" An amazing organization that provided so much for VOS while he was on duty!!
