Medical and Living Expenses for Mike McLain

A very good friend of ours and of our city, Mike McLain, is currently battling some very serious, life threatening health issues and he and his family could use some help from us with expenses.
Today, Monday October 14, 2019 Mike goes in for heart surgery after having just went through two strokes, several blood clots, multiple mini-strokes that left him with some brain damage, including some loss in strength on his left side.
Mike also has Type 1 diabetes.
Mike has a hole in his heart.
Mike's health issues include hypertension, a pulmonary embolism, which is a blockage of an artery in the lungs by a substance that has moved from elsewhere in the body through the bloodstream, he suffers from fatigue, anxiety and under doctors orders he is not allowed to work.
In addition to his health issues, daily things such as food, electric, water and every day expenses have become very difficult. Groceries for him and his family are even worse because Mike has to now eat recommended super healthy foods, which cost more than regular food.
Many people do not realize the extent of Mike's health issues and we would like to help him out so he has at least ONE less thing to worry about.

Mike is a really great guy and does a lot for his city and friends. Mike has helped with fundraisers locally, helping people raise money for all kinds of different causes. Mike is also a drone pilot and has shared many breathtaking images from within and around our community, including providing flood footage to local and regional news organizations.
He's not that good at asking for help, so we're asking for him. We're asking everyone to help out a friend, because he really needs it.
