Medical and everyday bills

For who ever knows my mother knows that she will give the shirt off her back to help anyone in need. It’s time we return that favor to her. Dawn Blassick (my mother) has been diagnosed with stage 4 lung cancer. She is not a person who will ask for help that is why I started a go fund me on her behalf. This all happened in November 2017 when she first went to the ER with severe pain in her lungs and back. She was then diagnosed with a very rare and extreme case of pneumonia which lead to her being admitted into the icu. She was hospitalized from the 18th of November to the 23rd. Dawn Blassick was then sent home on oxygen and was bed ridden until the pain got worse. She then was re-admitted to icu December 5th to December 8th. She had blood clots in both lungs as well as her whole right leg. After alot of different scans and biopsy’s of her lungs she was diagnosed with stage 4 lung cancer on December 7th. The following day she had a port put in her chest for treatments and was released that evening. January 4th starts her first treatment. She is on blood thinners and will be for the rest of her life. She will also be receiving treatments monthly, blood tests weekly, and scans of her lungs every four months. This is not curable but is maintainable. Since November my mother has not been allowed to work via doctors orders. She may possibly be able to return to work in February depending on her reaction to the treatments and medicines. For those who know Dawn Blassick (my mother) know that she is a hard working individual who loves her work and is going stir crazy not being able to partake in her normal schedule. Since her short term disability has not come through yet, I am asking for help. From raising three kids on her own, working non stop, and helping others she will greatly appreciate any help we can receive. She has been strong in faith and hoping she can get back to work ASAP so she can start paying off all the hospital bills that are flowing in.
