War has returned to Europe.
All kinds of medical products and medical supply are needed urgently and at short notice. With your donations, the Global Shapers Munich e.V. will get prescription-only medical aid from the list and our partners will transport them to Ukraine.
We are planning to support up to €10,000 of medical aid to Ukraine. We will purchase the medication from a designated provider in Munich, as we have been unable to get from companies like pharmaceutical Sanofi and Roche, as well as smaller companies by donation.

Having said that, we were successful in receiving €100,000 from the City of Munich thanks to our work.

Our partner, the Ukrainian Doctor's Association (die Ukrainische Ärztevereinigung), has delivered the medicine previously into Ukraine.
The medicine will be used at hospitals and wherever the Ukrainian government deems it is needed.

Global Shapers is a network of more than 10,000 young people around the world working to address local, regional and global challenges. As an initiative of the World Economic Forum, it is a network of locally active groups around the world, founded and led by 20-30 year olds. There are currently 458 groups in more than 150 countries.
The Global Shapers organize themselves in local networks, which can be found in almost every major metropolis in the world. The various hubs operate individually as well as in collaboration with other groups locally and internationally. In the course of the war in Ukraine, the Global Shapers Munich e.V. has been working with partners in Munich, Prague and Geneva but also Lviv and Kyiv.

About the Ukrainian Doctor's Association
As doctors and members, we organize medical relief for Ukraine and request donations of all sorts for injured soldiers and civilians. If the donations are monetary, we purchase medicine and medical equipment. In addition, we also collect help for the organization of transportation into Ukraine. This we organize ourselves into larger cities, but also into active areas, which we have achieved with great success!
