Mechala Sharr's Funeral Services

It’s with great sadness that we share Mechala (Kayla) Sharr passed away this week at age 42 after a brave battle with acute myeloid leukemia, a very aggressive blood cancer. Kayla’s diagnosis was unexpected, treatments were intense, and things moved pretty fast. Still, through it all, Kayla confronted cancer head on and with the same strength and toughness she approached all of life’s challenges. In addition to her mom, sister and family, Kayla leaves behind two incredible boys. Your prayers and encouragement are so very appreciated. However, as is the case for so many patients managing aggressive cancers, Kayla was unable to work and faced the stress of making ends meet from day to day. So in addition to your well wishes, and in lieu of flowers, we are asking for help raising funds to cover the cost of funeral services for Kayla. Again, thank you for your love and support as our family concludes this difficult journey.
