Me create something more

Hello there!

My name's Magnus Månsson! I'm 36 years old and have worked as a scaffold constructor for the past 17+ years. I've worked primarily with my dad, but during the past years, we've both suffered injuries, which played a big part in why he decided to get out of the business.

One of my great passions is to create. And when your line of work is scaffolding, you are only enabling others to create.. After we have done our job, there is no sign of it, except for the work of others.

Working with any family member comes with a set of challenges and has not left me with lots of energy or possibility to pursue what I want to do in this world, which is to create, not just enable others to.

My passion for making all things custom and unique made me decide that this is what my next chapter in life should be after all was said and done with my father and the company. I have a lot of great ideas and designs, and now I have the time and energy to use my creativity daily.

As a hobby, I have been working with epoxy resin and wood, and resin being a very versitile substance, is allowing for some real creative work. Some of the stuff I've made includes three fantasy-inspired wands for my brother and his daughter(being huge harry potter fans), a lamp, and a few necklaces for my mother(who is allergic to nickle) and trinkets.

Seeing as I now have both opportunity and time on my hands, I have decided this is what I want to do for a living. And to this end, I need a small workshop and power tools to build a few proofs of concept to kickstart my business. Personalized home decor and furniture that mirrors not only my creativity but the customers as well. And the small spot next to the door is great, but for the sake of my girlfriend and our cats, I need a better place to work.

This is where you come in. the funds you donate will go towards what I mentioned. Equipment to work with, a place to work, and resources to create everything and anything I can think of, tailored specifically for the one who orders it.

To have the foundation I need to stand on to grow and to make this into a living.
