That’s the date & time our lives changed forever. That’s the date & time a doctor walked into a room and told us that Jake has stage 4 lung cancer. A 36 year old, non smoker with a full life ahead of him. I’m at a loss for words. One day we’re bickering over where to eat, the next we’re sitting in the waiting room of a cancer treatment center. Below you see Jake fresh out of the hospital from a lung surgery....at the ballfield cheering on our boy & The Mets! We were tired, uncertain, scared but NOTHING will hold us back!!!! One thing I know for sure is we serve a POWERFUL & MIGHTY God! I fully believe in the POWER of prayer so I ask (really I BEG) that you hit your knees and pray for our family, our kids, for Jake! #bergrenstrong  

I am a long time family friend of the Bergren’s.  I will provide updates on Jake and his progress throughout this journey as often as possible!  His diagnosis of Stage IV Adenocarcinoma comes with much heartache, pain and many expenses.  All funds raised will go directly to Jake and his wife, Heather, to help with medical bills, everyday living expenses as well as travel expenses for treatment! If you are unable to donate financially please kindly say a  prayer for Jake, his wife and their 3 small children!
