MCU Bouldering Wall

In the beginning of 2020, the Mountian Club of Uganda set out to build a bouldering structure in Muyenga to satisfy the growing hunger here for climbing. After some COVID setbacks, the structure is complete! The structure has a concrete floor, metal outer frame, and a roof to help ensure that MCU members can enjoy climbing here for years to come.

Right now, though, we only have enough climbing holds, gym mats, t-nuts and bolts for half the walls. Needless to say, these items are difficult to get here in UG and must be shipped in (except for the gym mats). We need help from current members, former members, or anyone out there who has a passion for climbing to acquire and ship these items so the MCU can continue to develop the burdgeoning climbing culture in Uganda!
