My Students in need!

I'm not really sure how to begin but let's just say I am emotionally exhausted. This has been one of the most difficult year's of my life for a lot of reasons. But let me just say this year has been BEYOND hard professionally. Teaching has gotten more and more difficult for so many reasons. I have worked and am working harder and longer hours each day than I have at any point in my career.
It was supposed to get easier as I got older and "wiser".
Regulations, rules, legislation and people who just don't care have made this job so hard. I deal with over 180 needy kids every day. But what has made this year so emotionally difficult for me is I have SO MANY students who are struggling. SO MANY students who want to succeed but are being held back by society, by their home lives, by the terrible situations that they have been put in by the awful adults in their lives. It literally breaks my heart everyday to go to work. I have kids living with grandparents who are dying of cancer because their parents are heroin addicts. I have kids literally sleeping on the floor, not on an air mattress, but ON THE FLOOR, with not enough food to eat because mom needs surgery and dad skipped town. I have kids who are having kids because their parents don't care enough to pay attention to what they are doing. I have kids who are trying to get good grades but have ZERO support at home because they are a bother to their parents so they can not get ahead. I'm tired and I need help. I need donations to help my kids get the clothes, the food, the beds, the mentoring and all of the other things we all take for granted. SO if you would be so kind to donate and donate generously to the kids who have been deal a lousy hand and be grateful for what we all take for granted I would appreciate it.
