McKEE FAMILY HOUSE BURNS IN COLD SPRINGS WILDFIRE

THE McKEE FAMILY, (LUKE, HALEY, ETHAN (11) AND MONTE(8) LOST THE HOUSE THEY LIVED IN, AS IT BURNED TO THE GROUND on Monday September 7th in the COLD CREEK WILDFIRE on hwy 97 north close to Monse 
They lived on a small farm in Okanogan County, Washington. The house they lived in was built by Luke's gandfather, and was held dear in the hearts of all of the generations in the McKee family. Luke risked his life to save his families home, but to no avail... the fire changed directions and came fast.
We had wind gusts over 30 mph spreading the fire in so many directions, which was constantly changing. So many homes and ranches were in danger... and burning up, that help was sparse... and conditions were extreme and dangerous. They had time to get all of the horses to safety, and dogs, only one of Ethan's chickens survived.
All the contents in the home, except a few pictures, were lost...not only their things, but their Grandma Betty's treasures as well. They are a hard working loving family who is always there to help others. They rodeo, and the little boys go to junior rodeos. They love their animals (horses, dogs, chickens, cats, long horn steers...), and living in their Grandma Betty's house was special, because to them 'roots' mean something. Luke wanted to raise his family on a place that meant the world to him, and carried special memories in his heart. Family traditions, an honest word, hard work...all of these are traits of the Luke & Haley's family.
My name is Jennifer, and I live in Brewster, WA 5 min from Luke and Haley's place. Because the McKee's are very special to me and my family, I am starting this fundraiser ... in hopes that generous hearts, who would like to donate, are able to easily do so with this fundraiser.
THEY NEED FUNDING TO HELP ASAP FOR A NEW PLACE TO LIVE....
I would like to raise $15,000 for them to assist with a new place to live, and any animal expenses...They also need to purchase everything new... from fencing for the horses and cows, farm items, vet supplies, clothing, kitchen, furniture, boots, clothes..everyday items...they have nothing left.
Since Covid hit the housing is sparse in our area, as many people are already moving here from other locations and real estate has been moving fast. This funding will help them secure a home asap that will accommodate them and all of their livestock.
If you are unable to donate but would like to say a prayer for all of the families, in the Okanogan County and other areas who lost their homes and animals, we would love that too :)
