Mckenzie had  an emergency appendectomy on October 2, 2014. She was sent home the next day and we thought everything would be alright. A couple of days later she was so ill we returned to the hospital and she was readmitted for several days. We were told they didn't know what was wrong. They released her from the hospital with several prescriptions. She has continued to be quite ill with little or no reprieve. We went to her follow up appointment and we were told she did not have an appendicitis as they had originally thought. We were informed that they were looking at cancer. We have been in complete shock and scared to pieces. We asked for all of her records and made an appointment with a different doctor. We took her to the medical center a couple of times in between for help. They put her on more medicine for infection. We took her to a different doctor, he looked through all of the records and told us he was sending her to Childrens Hospital for more tests. Each day is another day my child is in pain, running a fever, headache and nauseous. We took her medical records, prescriptions and a journal of her illness, we headed to Virginia. She was admitted and for the next couple of days prepared her for another surgical procedure. We have a list of possible causes and several prescriptions but no definite answers. We are now home and waiting for results. We have $43,000.00 in medical bills from the first two hospital stays.  We are asking for donations to help with the cost of the medical bills.  Any amount of donation helps and will be greatly appreciated.
