Our loved one, our colleague and our dear friend, Mike McCord received devastating news earlier this year that he was facing the battle of his life – cancer. He received his diagnoses in April, after many months of health issues, and since then has suffered from a multitude of setbacks.
As you can imagine, this has been devastating for the entire McCord family. They’ve been consumed with medical tests, doctor’s appointments, hospital stays – many sleepless nights, lots of tears & frustration and countless prayer requests.
We don’t know the total of medical expenses or how long Mike will be out of work but treatment is continuing and the costs are mounting, with no soon-to-be end in sight.
Family & friends of the McCord family have started a GoFundMe to help alleviate any financial stress so that Mike, Denyse, Aspyn and Ryan can focus on treatment and healing. The McCord family is strong in their faith and know that the Lord is ultimately in control. We all lean on our faith in Him to get us through times like this. The money donated will be used to pay for medical expenses and help with daily living expenses until this family is healed.
We ask that you pray for full recovery in mind, body and spirit for each member of the McCord family. We also ask that you donate whatever amount you can (no amount is too small). Their journey to full recovery is a long one and every prayer and every dollar given is greatly appreciated.
