Special Needs Bike For Katrina

Katrina is a bright, beautiful, eleven year old girl who recently underwent spinal surgery (SDR) to remove the spasticity in her body caused by cerebral palsy. She is now working very hard to build muscles and gain strength so  that she can one day walk on her own. This special bicycle will help her achieve that goal.

In therapy, immediately after surgery, she had the opportunity to ride a bike for the first time ever, and she FELL IN LOVE with the freedom and independence it provided her. There has never been a bigger smile on her face! Even though she can't walk yet, she can RIDE and, to her, that is FINALLY being able to do something that everyone else can do! 

We have an opportunity here to change this little girl's life. I am hoping we can all pull together to help Katrina ride.
