Amy's Medical Fund

Friends, family, many of you know Amy Leigh Shaver.  On Sunday she was involved in a terrible accident where she slowed down to miss a deer.  Unfortunately, the car behind her did not slow down, and it fish tailed Amy's car.  The result was that her car flipped over five times.  The accident left her on a ventilator for a few days left her on a ventilator for a few days.  She also had her first surgery on Tuesday to remove dead muscle from her left arm that was badly hurt.  A second surgery is happening today to remove more dead tissue, and see if the arm can be saved.  If not, the alternative is to amputate.  She has a long road ahead, as well as lots of physical therapy if the arm cannot be saved.  That is why I have created this page to try and help someone I've known and cared about over 20 years.  I've set a lofty goal, but any amount given is greatly appreciated.  Thank you for your generosity.
