Mazie-Mae Fundraiser

Tax deductible
So as many people already no Mazie spent the first 8 weeks at great ormand street 7 weeks of this on iciu.
When Mazie was first born everything was great and waiting to be discharged to go home and meet the rest of the family her big brothers and sister while waiting a doctor come round and then next thing Mazie was being whisked off to a side room lots of doctors come running in then she was off to NICU where me and her dad was moved to a side room and just left to wait 6 hours later a doctor comes in and tells us Mazie is going to Great ormand street as she has heart problems. Mazie was taken straight away that day me nd her dad had to make our own way there due to covid we wasnt allowed in the special care ambulance.
As soon as mazie was there she was taken for tests all through the night.
Mazie has
Transposition of the Great Arteries.
Pulmonary atresia.
Vsd.
Dextrocardia.
At 1 week old she went down for surgery. To have a Bt-shunt fitted Which wasnt successful so at 4 weeks had to go down again. While going through all of this mazie developed blood clots, sepsis and NEC which for this she had to go nil by mouth for 10days! Mazie was born at 6lb2 and went down to 4lb8oz.
Me and her dad had to go through lots of training before Mazie was allowed to come for injections feeding tubes but the main one life support! While doing the training we had to wait as they only have 1 doll to do this training with so we have decided to do some fund raising so they can buy another one hopefully two if we can raise the funds to not only help the hospital but to also help other familys that have to go through this.
Mazie still has a very long journey ahead of her shes now 17weeks and 11lb1oz for now what shes had done is just to keep her with us when she gets to 18lb shes got to go back for another open heart op and weve been told theres a high mortality chance we was also told this the second time she went down but our girl is a fighter!! The surgeons here are amazing also the nurses which in all mazie had over 80 look after her with out this hospital my baby would not be here!
Me and her dad could never Thank them enough for what they have and are still doing for Mazie-Mae.
