Mays corn cob removal
Donation protected
Several days ago May snagged a corn cob off the table and swallowed it before we could even say drop it. It appears it has become an obstruction so there is gas filling her intestines. They did a BIPS capsule (tiny beads the X-ray can see) and all of them remain in her stomach and haven’t moved at all in 12 hours, as well as her colon being completely empty yesterday and today, confirming the obstruction. She will have abdominal surgery this afternoon to remove the obstruction (we expect it to be the corn cob). Tentatively she will remain at he vet overnight for observation. These big financial things seem to happen at all the wrong times! We expect it to be $1800-2000. We set our goal over the initial surgery cost in case complications happen. If we end up with remaining money we plan to donate it to another doggo in need. We are taking a leap of faith and asking God to help provide through our friends and our amazing InstaFam! There are so many people we know are keeping her and us in their thoughts and we are so so very thankful!!!!! Please pray the surgery goes smoothly
