New Prosthetic Eye

Donation protected
Hello Everyone,
My name is Dalton. In August, 2013, I was diagnosed with a condition called Retinitis Pigmetosa.  In laymens terms Chicken Pox or Shingles of the Eye.  In response to the diagnosis, the doctor recommended a surgery to remove the infection.  While the virus rendered me blind in the left eye, the surgery was successful.  The virus was removed before it was able to spread.

I continued through the end of 2013 and most of 2014 able to manage the pain without medical necessity.  In September of this year the issues with my eye had grown unbearable and my options slim.  Afterslight hesitation I decided to go ahead and have a evisceration operation.  Essentially removal of the eye. This sergery was also a successful.

Now, hopefully, is the final step of the process.  I look to have a prosthesis implanted.  Yet, the cost of this process is roundly $2500.

I truly cannot  express, to those who wish to donate their funds and support, how greatful I am.  It's  unbelieve the response we've gotten.  Thank you all.  I know some do not have the means to donate, and I understand.  Know the support and outreach I have received over the last nineteen months has been overwhelming and greatly appreciated.  More than I could have ever imagined. Thank You.  I love you all.
