What do 2 year olds like to do? Play? Eat? Make a mess? If you have a toddler (or know one!) you know they're busy exploring the world.
Unfortunately, exploring the world for 2 year old Maya Chernichan has been put on pause.
Maya-Bear was diagnosed with ALL (Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia) on Wednesday August 1st, 2018 at the tender age of 2. Her treatment is being done through Cancer Care Manitoba and is expected to last at least 2 1/2 years.
Known lovingly as Maya-Bear, she is the daughter to Vincent and Sarah (Miller) Chernichan, and is also little sister to Brielle.
This page has been created to help support the medical and travel expenses incurred by the Chernichan family in this difficult time. Over the course of Maya's treatment, at least one parent needs to be home for Maya... this will also result in a loss of income for the family.
Sarah, Vince, Brielle and of course Maya are in need of our prayers and whatever support you can provide. Since this journey is just the beginning, thank you in advance for your generosity. It takes a village to raise a child and we, her family and friends are in it for the long haul.
