Max's Medical Emergency

Maximus Decimus Meridius  (Max) has been with me for almost 12 years. From the moment he was a puppy, we have been attached at the hip. For 12 years, and anybody who's met him would know that he's always shown his big, loving, and loud personality. Whether it's his awkward howls for attention or his licking that would never stop if you let him. He would just make everyone who met him fall in love with him. For most of his life, he's been a very strong and fearless dog, unfazed even when he cut open his foot and needed stitches- continuing to walk around like nothing happened. However, this year has been hard for Max. Over the past few months he's had so many medical issues that they greet us at the animal hospital by name. After months of emergency trips and thousands of dollars for issues that we were told were treatable, we recently out that it's actually cancer.

On Wednesday Max had a medical emergency and after CT scans and numerous tests, procedures, and a few nights in the hospital, they confirmed that he has cancer and that he doesn't have much time left.

I know it's hard to give money with it being the holidays, nevermind the fact that it's a COVID holiday, but this last emergency was not something we expected since we spent thousands on the treatments that we thought would help him, but now found out they were only secondary caused by the cancer. 

Any donation helps. We want to make sure we can make him as comfortable and happy as possible in his last days.
