Max's campaign for The Joshua Tree
Tax deductible
Hi
My name is Max and on the 11th of April me and my brother Sam will be doing a charity skydive for the Joshua Tree Foundation
This Charity was set up in the Northwich area to help not only those fighting cancer but also the families of cancer patients, whether in remission or still undergoing treatment. They strive to give those in their care all the opportunities that cancer unfortunately takes away, this ranges from Art therapy to bowling nights , which allowed families to meet likewise people and build up friendships and relationships which frequent absences from school can rob these children of and even included days out to experience luxury cars and visit Granada studios.
This Charity is very close to my heart due to my brother not only surviving but thriving after beating hodgkin lymphoma twice. He endured illness, the loss of hair and the loss of two years of his education. Once he returned to school he faced ridicule and bullying, however all the way through this two years of hell the Joshua Tree Foundation held his hand and supported my brother allowing him to become the strongest person I know. As a family we were offered support and grief counciling, without this I don’t know whether as a family we would have survived.
But now now it is time for me to give something back which is why I implore you to donate so that every child who is forced to carry this burden can feel normal even if it is just for a day
and if you know of any families or friends with cancer who need help or just someone to talk to please send them this link to their website
