Maverick’s Warrior Heart

This is Maverick ( I know I always think of Top Gun too! ).
He’s my great Nephew and he’s 3 months old. Please forgive my writing, I’m kind of a plainspoken sort of person, and this is long.
Chelsey is my niece she lives in Minnesota and Maverick is her son, he will be operated on at Childrens Minnesota in Minneapolis on November 14th. He was born with a congenital heart murmur, which we all hoped and prayed would close up on its own. Unfortunately, that hasn’t happened and apparently it’s affecting him in other ways, so it needs to be surgically corrected. I’m the kind of person that likes to keep to myself about these sorts of family things, but just feel I need to help in some way. I know first hand the amount of stress (financial and emotional) they are going through that comes with this kind of event because of my husband and his on going heart issues and surgeries. I am setting up this Go Fund Me, as a way to maybe help alleviate some small portion of that burden, maybe it can help offset some of the financials of a HDHP insurance deductible, (that alone I can vouch for is an undertaking to get paid off) or maybe just, fuel or motel rooms, maybe even dinners at the hospital for momma, daddy and Adley (when she gets to visit lil brother). I know it’s asking a lot, in as much as we all have problems in this day and age, but I just feel the need to see if I can help in some way. I know sometimes all it takes is for someone to open an avenue, because maybe there are others who would like to help and just don’t know how to.

“THINGS YOU CAN HELP US PRAY FOR!
Pray for Maverick that he will stay comfortable, and that his body would heal and recover quickly! Most importantly that this will fix the problem and he will return to being a happy, healthier and strong baby boy!
Pray for the surgeon team that they would have steady hands, clear minds and confidence in everything they will be doing.
Pray for all the nurses and medical staff that will be caring for our little man. That they may be careful and aware of exactly how to care for him.
Pray for us (mom and dad) that we may continue to lean into the Lord to guide us through every decision we have to make..♥️ Pray that we would be able to work things out at home to be able to take this time off to be with Maverick for such a long period of time.
Pray for my (chelsey’s) parents for peace of mind and for endurance. They will be taking care of our busy bee Adley for us during this time!
Be in prayer for all of us that we would have peace and feel comfort through this time. That we would all stand firm in our faith and that we would not let the devil take our fear and run with it. That we would stand on the truth that God already holds it all.”
