Matt & Dans Sky Dive for Kid Cancer
Inspired by Jake Edward Elliott, the son of our friends Sarah and Spencer. Jake is a brave little boy, who was diagnosed with Leukemia last year when he just turned 3 years old. As a parent of a child the same age, I cant even begin to imagine what this is like.
Despite his dreadful illness and the terrible suffering he endures while under treatment, Jake's sheer iron will persists. His vision is to change his environment around him, for himself, and for all other children at all hospitals.
He questioned why the play room was boring, he didn't know why it couldn't be fun. He asked simple questions that deserved simple answers (not long adult ones). His parents found themselves asking the same questions, and decided to help Jake do what he does best; The impossible.
Matt Smith and Dan Cope of ECS Systems Ltd and Tiny Town Soft Play are raising money to help kit out the childrens cancer wards with stimulating equipment and for a sensory and treatment room where kids go to have injections and other daunting treatment that they need in order to fight this awful disease. These children dont understand whats going on. They are often scared and confused. By creating a calming and nicer environment for them, we hope to help reduce anymore trauma that they have to face.
Our previous fund raiser raised over £2500 and every single penny was used to create a play room / time out space on the childrens cancer wards.
The sky dive will take place on Wednesday 30th August in Cambridgeshire (weather permitting) It will be both Matt and Dans first ever sky dive so please show your support and give generously to help support this amazing cause.

When a child is fighting cancer, they need to know they're not alone. .. They need to know that there is an army of people fighting with them & for them...
