Mattie Smith Fund

Mattie suddenly suffered a massive stroke two weeks ago. She is currently in ICU on a respirator in stable condition. Mattie will be looking at rehab and long term care. The funds raised will go to a home closer to family or any other financial need that may occur later on. 
Mattie is always there for anyone in need of a special meal or just someone to talk to.  Many nights Mattie called me to just check in on how I was doing when her brother in law was in ICU for 2 months. When the phone rang at 3 am I knew it was Mattie.  She works as a cook at an elementary school and will be missing her babies knowing they will start school without her home-cooked meals. 
We are reaching out to family and friends that could help in any way possible. Whether it is financially or just a helping hand when it is needed. Thank you to all willing to share and help. Please keep Mattie and her children in your prayers.
