Matthew's Juilliard audition trip

I am writing this letter to you on behalf of my son Matthew Martinez, he has been granted an audition at the prestigious The Julliard School in New York! He is so excited and is prepared for his audition coming up in January 2015.
However… My son and I are lacking funds to get him there, and we need your help. I, his mother, Rosemary Aleman, am taking a leap of faith, taking a brave and bold approach, along with my strong faith I am asking and depending on the generosity of both the people I know and strangers.
This request is made with the understanding that my family and I don’t have these type funds readily available, and we know most of you don’t either. This is why I have decided to campaign on “GoFundMe” as a means of raising these much needed funds.
My son can make no promise or guarantee that he will be accepted to Julliard. But this is an opportunity for him to follow his dreams, and make something special of his life. As his mother it hurts me to even think that a certain amount of money could stop him from trying.
Any amount you can give is appreciated, we are more than grateful for your assistance. I swallow my pride and implore to you to help Matthew with this opportunity of a lifetime. Again, any amount you can spare to support his cause is greatly appreciated.
