Our brother Matthew was assualted on February 26, 2006. This unprovoked assualt left him with a severe brain injury. After 7 weeks in a coma and seven months of intsense therapy and rehabilitation Matt was allowed to come home to live with our family so we could take care of him.
Our father was the primary caregiver and guardian for 12 years. In October 2017 our father was diagnosed with esophageal cancer which quickly metastasized to several parts of his body.
On January 17th, 2018 our father passed away peacefully at home.

Our goal for Matthew is to keep him at home with our new caregiver rather than having to place him a skilled nursing center away from his home.
