Matthew & Crissa Felkner fund

This page is for my dear friend Crissa Felkner and her husband Matthew Felkner.  They have been together for 14 years and was blessed earlier this year with the announcement they were pregnant for the first time with twins! All the while after thinking for so long that having children may not be possible.

The expected due date was not to be until 10/30/17 but at 23 weeks there was complications discovered and Crissa was placed on bed rest and was able to hold out another 4 weeks before delivering the babies on 8/3/17 which was approximately 13 weeks too early.

They were born at Lancaster hospital via an emergency c-section. Judah Jacob Felkner was 2lb. 4oz. and not breathing at birth. Irie Grace Felkner was 1lb. 13 oz. and barely breathing. Both were immediatly put on ventilators and life flighted to Childrens hospital in Columbus, OH.

Both babies are expected to stay in Childrens until their original due date of 10/30/17 if not possibly longer. Judah has since had a ventilator removed and placed on cpap for breathing but poor Irie is still on a ventilator and has self-extubated many times.  They both are looking a additional medical concerns and health issues but rather than dwell on the setbacks Crissa and Matt are placing their faith in Gods hands and hoping all will be well and will cross those bridges as they come.

I am hoping to raise 10k to assist Matt and Crissa with all the medical expenses they are going to have to take on all while going through this already stressful time when they really need less stress and more focus on the road ahead.  Crissa has even started back to work already working  from her lap top remotely in the hospital just to start being able to save funds for all the expenses and bills to come. I know 10k will probably barely make a dent in amount of bills to come but every little bit helps!

I am urging people to please donate to my dear friends and share this on Facebook as they have a very long road ahead of them.  You can donate anonymously if you prefer and even if you only have a very small amount to give it will help!  I would like to try and get this to them in the next 30 days.  So anyone who reads this if you can find it in your heart to give a donation  we thank you so much already and god bless you!
