In 2011, the Town of Mattawa entered itself into the Kraft Celebration Tour with a chance to win $25,000. At that time, the idea was to utilize the $25,000 to assist with the build of a Splash Pad. Unfortunately, it didn't happen and the expectation still remained.
Here we are in 2017 and a group of volunteers has come together to fundraise and solicit funds from local businesses, interest groups, associations individuals, past and present of the Town of Mattawa to make this project a reality in time for Canada's 150th birthday celebration on July 1st 2017.
So far, of the $200,000 goal, we have $110,000 raised through the suport of the Town of Mattawa ($100,000) and $10,000 from other local fundraising efforts.
Today, we ask those of you from the area, past, present, and future to contribute what you can in order to make this project a reality for the children, youth, and families of our area.

The Plan:
$200,000 Splash Pad Construction in the Town of Mattawa at Timmins Park. This budget will facilitate the complete installation of plumbing, concrete, automated fixtures, accessible park entrance, and cleanup.
The park washrooms are also slated for recontruction
To raise $10,000 through the GoFundMe campaign to apply to the grand goal of building the Mattawa Splash Pad. Updates will follow as other sources of funding are received.
