Matt's Return
Donation protected
On September 25, 2018 Matt had an accident hiking near Cusco, Peru and passed away. Matt had been traveling through South America since the beginning of August. He was an avid biker and was happiest when he was exploring the outdoors.
We, his family, are asking for financial assistance to bring him home. Funds will go first toward his cremation and having his ashes returned to the United States. The estimate that we have gotten from the Embassy is $10,000.
Any additional funds will go toward:
1. Having his items moved from California to Texas where his parents reside.
2. Costs of a memorial service to be held at a date and location to be later determined.
3. Remaining funds to will be split between Project Bike Love and and educational fund for his niece, Stella Weber.
