Matt Stevens' Cancer Fund

At the end of April 2017 Matt was not feeling well.  We went to the doctor who sent us to an urologist.  The urologist informed us that Matt had testicular cancer.  Three days after graduating from CBHS, Matt underwent surgery.  On May 26th Matt had a CT scan and we were informed that the cancer had spread up his aorta behind the abdomen and on the lungs.  We were sent immediately to the West Clinic.  Dr. Somers confirmed that Matt has Stage 3a non-seminomas testicular cancer.  Matt starts chemo on Monday, June 5, 2017.  Dr. Somers suggested that Matt put off going to college the first semester because Matt will have chemo for three to four months.  If the cancer is still visible, he will then have another surgery.  Medical bills are already coming in and we haven't even started chemo.  If you are able, please help us pay for Matt's medical expenses or call and bring us dinner.  We can not thank you enough for your generosity.  But most importantly, please pray for Matt and our family as we go through this trying time.
