Please help Matt Poss and family
Matt was in a serious motorcycle accident on Friday Sept 22.
He slid 400 feet, according to law enforcement and abruptly stopped when he hit large rocks. He was taken to Baptist Hospital in Winston Salem to undergo treatment for multiple skull fractures, numerous skin tissue injuries to his face, arms and torso. He has lost all tissue under his right eye and will require some extremely intensive reconstruction plastic surgery to repair the damage to his skull and eye.
Matt will begin his surgery schedule this week beginning with his eye.
Although he does have health insurance, out-of-pocket medical expenses will be extremely high. It’s not easy to ask for help, so we are asking for them. We want to support Matt, Erin and their 2 months old daughter Lyla anyway we can. Help us give Matt and his young family a lift up and ease their fears. Reality is we don't exactly know what is to come, buy we do know that medical costs will be high and we know there will be an extensive recovery time when Matt will be unable to work. Along with the medical OOP cost they have rent, some recurring bills, deductibles and basic living expenses. If you feel led, please help us ease their financial burden so they can focus on his health and recovery.
