Mastersons Brain Cancer Battle

In December of 2015, Tom Masterson was diagnosed with Glioblastoma multiform stage 4 brain cancer.  He underwent surgery to remove one tumor and received 6 weeks of radiation and 12 months of chemotherapy to stay cancer free.  Unfortunately, the cancer came back in April of 2017 at which time Tom had Gamma Knife radiation surgery to remove the two small tumors.  In early September, Tom, and his wife Marie, received the devastating news that the cancer was back again.  He had another surgery to remove the two new tumors. This has all taken a toll on Tom’s body and mind.  He has lost peripheral vision in his left eye and will need cognitive and speech therapy and more chemotherapy as part of his rehabilitation.  Tom has been unable to work through much of his fight against cancer and Marie has often been off of work while she is caring for Tom as he heals.  They also have a 15 year old daughter to provide for and the bills are piling up.  The Masterson’s are a family that has always done whatever they could to help those in need, and now they need our help.  Please consider supporting them and easing some of their financial burden while Tom receives care and rehabilitation.
