Save A Smile - Mason's Medical Fund

Mason Joseph Laser was born on 12/19/14 with a unilateral cleft lip and palate. He is the youngest of our 3 boys and his big brothers are 2 and almost 5 years old. Mason will be needing his first 2 surgeries this year by the time he is 1 year old. His first surgery will be to close his lip and the second will be to close his palate.  In the upcoming years Mason will need several more surgeries and various treatments.

In addition to his surgeries, Mason currently needs to get a device called a Nam  which will be fit to go inside his mouth across his palate and is designed to push together the gaps in his lip, gums, and palate. This device will help improve the effectiveness of the 2 surgeries he will have this year, as well as the bone graph surgery he will need around age 8.  After the Nam is in for 2-3 months he will be ready for his lip repair surgery.

We just recently found out that our insurance will not cover this device and it is $5800 for the Nam alone. With all of Mason's upcoming medical bills and surgeries as well as weekly trips to CHOC Hospital, our family is in desperate need of financial help right now.
