Este año ha sido todo un reto para el mundo entero, y para nuestra familia no ha sido excepción. La querida abuela Silvia necesita de tu ayuda para lograr salir de este nuevo reto que enfrenta, debido a que fue diagnosticada con una ENDOCARDITIS EN VÁVULA AÓRTICA y una INFECCIÓN EN EL BOLSILLO DEL MARCAPASOS, y por sugerencia de su médico tratante es necesario proceder lo antes posible a retirar los de cables y generador de Marcapaso mediante CEC, a través de la intervención quirúrgica. La intervención, honorarios médicos y gastos del tratamiento resulta un total de $26.000, por el cual necesitamos recurrir a esta recolección.

This year has been a challenge for the whole world, and for our family it has been no exception. Our dear grandmother Silvia needs your help to get out of this new challenge she faces, she was diagnosed with an ENDOCARDITIS IN THE AORTIC VALVE and an INFECTION IN THE CARDIAC PACEMAKER POCKET, and at the suggestion of her treating doctor it is necessary to proceed as soon as possible and remove the cables and the Cardiac Pacemaker generator by CEC, through surgical intervention. The intervention, medical fees and treatment expenses total $ 26,000, for which we need to do to this collection.


Un poco mas sobre Silvia

Les cuento un poco sobre Silvia, ella es esposa, hermana, mamá de 4, abuela de 9, bisabuela de Mía, que vive fuera de Venezuela y está loca por conocer, también es tía, madrina, amiga. Silvia tiene 81 años y es una persona que siempre piensa primero en los demás antes que en ella misma, fue esa persona que entró a trabajar apenas salió del colegio para que sus 5 hermanas pudieran graduarse todas en la UCV, conformó su familia junto a Guillermo Barroso (el tigre) y tuvo 4 hijos para después ella comprometerse a graduarse en la UCV de Abogado, y trabajó 20 años en la administración pública por 20 años. Ha dado tanto a esta familia que podemos decir que gracias a ella hoy somos tan unidos y con valores inigualables. 

No es el primer reto que enfrenta, y por eso estamos seguros que saldrá muy bien de este para seguir bailando boleros con el tigre como tanto le gusta, o fingir que disfruta el reggeton bailando con los nietos. En el 2012 tuvo una aneurisma Cerebral con hemorragia intracraneal ¡vaya susto que nos dio! Pero más sorprendidos estuvimos cuando salió perfectamente de esto, sin ninguna consecuencia que lamentar. Sin embargo más adelante, ese mismo año fue necesario colocarle un Marcapaso bicameral por habérsele detectado enfermedad del nodo sinosal y haber presentado síndrome de marcapaso.

Silvia es católica, fiel creyente en Dios y en la Virgen del Valle y gracias a ellos hoy se siente bien y con mucha fuerza para enfrentar lo que viene. Este nuevo reto, por el cual solicitamos tu ayuda, comenzó en julio del 2020, donde le identificaron la infección en el bolsillo del marcapasos, a lo cual respondimos con tratamiento antibiótico, oral y endovenoso por sugerencia de su médico. Hicimos numerosos exámenes: eco torácico, 2 ecos transesofagico , PC Scan , con el fin de buscar otras alternativas médicas antes de acudir a la solución quirúrgica (en los anexos puedes visualizar comprobante de todo lo realizado). Sin embargo, la infección continúa, ahora con un riesgo mayor.

Les prometemos que no es cliché cuando les decimos que cada aporte, cualquiera que sea el monto, nos ayuda a estar más cerca de poder tener a nuestra abuela por muchos años más con nosotros. Incluso con ayudarnos a promocionar esta campaña estarías colaborando con nosotros enormemente.

More About Silvia

Let´s get to know Silvia: she is a mother of 4, a grandmother of 9, Mia's great-grandmother, who lives outside of Venezuela and she is crazy to meet, she is also an aunt, godmother, friend. Silvia is 81 years old and a person who always thinks first of others before herself, was that person who went to work as soon as she left school so that her 5 sisters could all graduate from the UCV (Venezuelan most important university), she formed her family with Guillermo Barroso (el tiger) and had 4 children, and then she proceed graduate from Lawyer in the UCV. She has given so much to this family that we can say that thanks to her today we are so united and with unmatched values.

It is not the first challenge she faces, and that is why we are sure that she will come out of this very well to continue dancing boleros with El Tiger as she likes so much, or to pretend that she enjoys reggeton dancing with her grandchildren. In 2012 she had a Cerebral Aneurysm with Intracranial Hemorrhage, (what a scare it gave us!) But we were more amazed when she came out perfectly from this, without any consequence to regret. However, later that year it was necessary to place a bicameral Cardiac Pacemaker for having detected sinus node disease and having presented pacemaker syndrome.

Silvia is a Catholic, a faithful believer in God and in La Virgen del Valle and thanks to them today she feels good and with great strength to face what is coming. This new challenge, for which we request your help, began in July 2020, where the infection was identified in the pocket of the pacemaker, to which we responded with antibiotic, oral and intravenous treatment at the suggestion of her doctor. We did numerous tests: thoracic echo, 2 transesophageal echoes, PC Scan, in order to look for other medical alternatives before going to the surgical solution (in the annexes you can see proof of everything we have done). However, the infection continues, now at a higher risk.

We promise that it is not a cliché when we tell you that each contribution, whatever the amount, helps us to be closer to being able to have our grandmother with us for many more years. Even by helping us promote this campaign, you would be helping us enormously.
