Mary's Xmas Angels 2 theRescue

As many of you may or may not know one of our fellow employees who's an EMT was injured and victim of s violence in the workplace and hasn't been able to work due to a concussion and being on restrictions. This unfortunately has added more stress to her already stressful situation as a single mom who's recently seperated. Mary had planned to work a lot of extra so that she would get a bigger check on this coming Friday and was excited to go Black Friday shopping but her plans have been foiled. She's missed many of the hours she's signed up to work plus all the extra hours she had planned to pick up on top of that. She's currently a prn EMT in the ER so that she's able to work around her small children's schedule and her daycare situation. Unfortunately, that leaves her more vulnerable in this type of situation and she's not able to get many of the benefits a full or part time employee would be able to like short term leave if needed or be able to use PTO. She also holds a 2nd job with one of the local EMS services but hasn't been able to work there either due to her concussion and work restrictions and still being very early out from the original injury.

Mary works full time hours in the ER and often picks up more to get by and provide for her 3 young children. She's a hard working EMT and has made many sacrifices for her family and currently worried about her bills and more so her children's Christmas so that they don't have to be impacted by this event. I'm hoping that many of you are willing to even give and help her out and even if it's a small donation of $5 because if we all bond together we can help alleviate many of her worries. Also in this attack Mary's 11k cochlear implant was destroyed and we are currently unsure if it will be paid for but are still remaining optimistic and if not will have to do some alternative measures to get it replaced.
