Mary and Judy's Rose Bowl Trip

I am 17-year-old girl from South Bend, IN and hoping to attend USC next year. However, this gofundme is more for my mother. I'm hoping to get my mother and me to Pasadena for the USC Rose Bowl Game.
My mother, Judy, is originally from California and graduated from USC in '84. She was a flag girl in the Band and has an undying love for the Trojans despite living in Notre Dame Territory. A few weeks ago, before bowl predictions were out, my mom talked about how it would be a dream to go to the Rose Bowl game if USC played. I'm hoping to make this dream come true.
Years ago, my mother and father went to many USC games. The past years have been full of financial difficulties. She hasn't been to a USC game in California in 10 years and hasn't attended a USC bowl game in 35 years; the last one being Penn State vs. USC in the Fiesta Bowl in 1982 (her junior year of college).
She sits every Saturday, intensely supporting the Trojans, tweeting her thoughts to the USC community. Using twitter as a way to connect with her family on the west coast. She would be incredibly grateful for the support and to be with you all in Pasadena. I would be even more grateful for the USC community and anyone else who supports the funds, for helping me make a Christmas Miracle into a reality.
The funds will be for tickets, travel fares, rental car, and hotel. This trip would be a dream come true for my mom.I'm hoping to give this to my mother for Christmas. So, I'm hoping to meet the goal by December 24, but I will take fund up until the 29th.

If I do not reach my goal. I will refund all the money that is given to the account.

I think it is a sign that this is supposed to happen. Usually my mother is out of town on New Years and this year she is not. Also, the odds of USC making it to the Rose Bowl when she was talking to me about a few weeks it were extremely slim but look at what happened. Lastly, the last bowl game she attended was when USC was playing Penn State over 30 years ago.
