Alright, you all know her and love her. From helping to start SAIL to taking our kids to Odyssey of the Mind World to just being there when we needed a shoulder. She fixes our computers and cries when she watches Legally Blonde. She helps us and guides us and we love her for it.
Next month is Mary's 50th birthday. I had hoped to give her the birthday party she deserves. The Universe had other ideas. Not only will she be skipping her regular Christmas party this year, but her birthday party is canceled too.
2020 has been bad enough. I don't want her to remember this birthday as a sad one. No family, no friends, no party. I have an idea, but I need your help.
For years she's been going on about this GlowForge thing. I don't get it, but I'm just a boy. Something about adding beauty to the world, even in the dark. You know Mary, she's always crafting something. Jewelry, hats, cards, t-shirts, whatever. It's her passion. And this will make her happy.
Well, the GlowForge is not cheap. So, she's accepted that she will probably never have one. I have not.
Mary is my best friend and the love of my life. Honestly, she's my only friend. But she is more fortunate. She has you.
