Today we lost the dearest mom you would ever know. Mom was fearless and always was there for us and anyone she knew.
Mother  passed today after a long battle with many issues over the years. She NEVER complained of any pain or really ever about being so sick with Cancer.
She 1st had breast cancer which she survived. Then years later the cancer came back in a different form -metastatic bone cancer. For years the Drs. said they could maintain her pain levels but after 16  years, it started to take its toll. She had to retire from her 37+ yr job for she was just too tired and could not do it anymore.
A year later she suffered a stroke but thankfully we made it to the hospital in time. She then moved in with my sister Stacey and would stay with me for a few weeks at a time as well.  Not so long after we discovered that her heart was in bad shape as well. We had a few procedures done to clear the clogged areas, but she just was not fairing well- even though she was always brave and willing to try what ever the docters asked her to do. These past few months she really began to loose steam and became very tired as the numerous sicknesses came her way. We all had so much hope that she was recouperating after we admitted her to a rehab here in Katy. She did well for a week or so, then we had her check up and found out that her heart rate was very high. So back to hospital she went to get better.
You see us children had always known that she had the will to keep on fighting this ugly disease but never knew that today would be her last breath.
So we had not planned ahead and now we are in need of all of her family, friends, co-workers and anyone that reads this to help us give mom the send off to Heaven that she so deserves.
We will have no more phone calls to mom nor anymore visits...only in our hearts.
I can't leave out her special love she had for animals of all kinds. They always brightened her day.

Momma  will forever be in our hearts, even though we are broken now we will do our best to keep her legacy alive.
So please share this page with all and thank you for your support in our time of need.
