Support Mary Mae Isaac

Mary Mae Isaac graduated in 2021 from St. Francis Xavier Bachelor of Arts and began her studies in education. She is an indigenous researcher and was recently hired as an instructor of Mi'kmaq Language and Culture in the StFX Department of Modern Languages. Mary Mae is a well-known and inspiring person on the StFX campus for her perseverance, grit, warm personality and smiles that light up every room. A wheelchair user due to cerebral palsy, Mary has been a strong advocate for student accessibility on campus, including having served as an advisor for St. FX's Washroom Inclusivity Project, which resulted in advances in washroom accessibility. Mary is the mother of three young children.

Mary's friends and colleagues were shocked to learn that Mary was recently hit by a car and sustained severe injuries. Please join us to help raise money to support Mary and her family on her challenging road to recovery.

Funds raised will be administered by a team of professional staff and volunteers to support Mary and her children’s immediate expenses until such time as she is ready to receive the balance of the payment via a cheque or an eTransfer.
