Vili Fualaau Family Fund

This Go Fund Me page has been established to provide support for Vili Fualaau and his family as they mourn the tragic loss of his wife, and their mother, Mary Fualaau (commonly referred to as “Mary Kay Letourneau”) to a harrowing battle with cancer. With your help, Vili will be able to maintain the family home for all of her children to continue to visit, picking and choosing what remembrances of their mother to keep there. As the family grieves her passing, the goal is to spare them feeling rushed, evicted or like her memories are being thrown out.

Before returning to Des Moines, WA, to care for Mary, Vili had been taking some time away from the Seattle area to soak up knowledge in Los Angeles, CA. He was taking adult basic education courses with plans to obtain an associate degree in Studio Arts at Pasadena City College (PCC). Sadly, the unexpected turn of events mentioned above led to his withdrawing from PCC and the Foundation Drawing course he’d been registered to take over the 2020 Winter Session.

Let us join together far and wide to help the family through this difficult time.  Donate what you can toward giving them the freedom and peace of mind to mourn on their terms according to their timeframe, and also make possible Vili’s return to school with something to look forward to each day.  The family thanks you for your support and for helping Vili get back on his feet and back to learning!
