Mary Jackson-Wayne Fire-Medical Bill Relief Fund

On November 17th 2019 a devastating fire for ever changed my life. It was approximately  1 am in the morning when my son yelled out to me that the house was on fire. We made it out the house with only seconds to spare. Standing outside in night clothes, no shoes, in 30 degree weather watching my house filled of memories and all personal items go up in flames in front of my eyes. I did not have much time to take everything in due to the fact that one of my sons had to be medevac to the Washington Burn Center. My other son and my 19 year old cat and myself were then taken to another nearby hospital with burn and smoke injuries. Starting over has been a difficult process healing from a broken arm and pneumonia due to the fire and now with the return of my cancer. I’m just asking for a little assistance as we try to rebuild. The lease for home I’m currently in is up in January and I need to find suitable housing as soon as possible that will accommodate my medical and financial situation as I am still in need of a lot of houseware items.
