Hurricane Harvey Relief -Mary Hitt

Hurricane Harvey caused immense widespread damage in the Houston metropolitan area.  So many families were/are displaced and have lost everything . . . unfortunately; Mary Hitt was one of them.  She has been staying with friends as we try to help her rebuild her home with the dedicated assistance of family, friends and co-workers.  It is an overwhelming task and like many others, Mary did not have flood insurance and obtaining any financial relief from FEMA or other charities has proven difficult. 

The immediate need is financial assistance to purchase the basic construction materials:

Drywall and installation supplies
Kitchen cabinets
Kitchen counters (and installation)
Baseboards
Doors (interior & exterior)
Bathroom cabinets
Master shower enclosure
Paint
Flooring (and installation)

She also lost all of her furniture and appliances:

Bedroom furniture
Living room furniture
Dining Room furniture
Washer/Dryer
Refrigerator
Dishwasher

Any financial assistance to help Mary and her volunteers with the work listed above would be greatly appreciated.  Mary’s been extremely overwhelmed with the generosity and assistance of her friends and co-workers – she’s so appreciative of everyone’s continued support during the long road to recovery.
