Our dear friends Mary and Ben, along with Mary's two teenage children, suffered a two alarm fire at their home in Lancaster on March 2, 2021.
Fortunately everyone is safe but the house has been condemned and nearly all of their belongings were destroyed.
The family has temporary lodging with family.
They have received clothing, footwear and gift cards from family and friends, which is amazing, thank you all!
The estimated damage is yet to be determined.
The family is in immediate need to secure housing.
This fund will support them in recouping significant losses and rehoming them to a safe environment.
Mary is a Hospice RN Case Manager, an extremely dedicated mother, highly supportive and attentive friend with a sharp wit and most excellent sense of humor.
Ben is a Fabricator at Design & Construction LTD, a grateful soul who is giving, kind, great with puns and ridiculously multi talented within the arts.
Mary's daughter is studying multi media production at Minuteman. She is outgoing, caring and full of a zest for life!
Mary's son will be a freshman in the fall, he has a unique maturity, loves to learn from his "elders", climb to the tops of trees and play music.
Both Mary and Ben have worked full time throughout the pandemic.
The two are embedded in the local music, food and small business scene. In non Covid times you will find them supporting the people they love with words, action, great food and dancing!
Please assist us in making this time more bearable for these thoughtful, hardworking people who truly appreciate it.
