Martz-Parkinson House Fire

Donation protected
At 4am, April 27th, Alex, Lexi and their two-year-old daughter, Grace lost the home that they were renting in Salmon Arm to a devastating house fire.

They (including their two dogs and two cats) awoke and escaped just in time before their house burned and collapsed.

They lost everything, including their vehicle.

They have no renter insurance.

As their family, we are hoping to help them get back on their feet.

In order to start over, they will need:

-clothing,
-child/baby items, (crib, high chair, clothes, toys, books)
-a place to rent and first month damage deposit,
-food,
-pet supplies
-vehicle insurance deductible,
-house-hold goods
-furniture
-kitchen supplies
-and sooo many more items

(Grace just celebrated her 2nd birthday 10 days ago and even her first new birthday bike is gone.)

We have also started a list of goods that we can donate to kit them out.
Please contact Lexi's parents and sister or Alex's parents and siblings to find out what they need.

In the meantime, can you help us to help them?  Please send this plight to anyone you know that may like to help them out.

They are a beautiful family who are working hard to start out their marriage, dreams and family.  They were on track with their goals to save for a house and were working hard on all of their dreams, projects, gardening and house-improvements.

This is a big set-back, but one which they are confident that they can rise above together!
