Martin's Cancer Recovery Fund

Martin Lane was diagnosed with aggressive cancer in his prostate in late November 2017, with a Gleeson count of 8on. We received results from a CT and bone scan in January stating that the cancer had not at that time spread outside of the prostate. Although this was good news, it is very important for Martin to strive to make his body as inhospitable to the cancer cells as possible.

We are reaching out to the wider community to ask for financial support. The costs of Martin’s proposed weekly visits to a naturopath to receive intravenous high dose vitamin C, Alpha Lipoic Acid and chelation, as well as the variety of immune boosting supplements already in use and the rigid diet he has adopted will prove to be beyond the means of the family budget.

Additionally, Martin is working fewer hours at the daycare he and his wife run, so he can rest and have time to educate himself on his illness and choose one of the potential treatment options the urologist has suggested in a timely fashion.
