Acosta recovery

As many of you know Katie’s husband was severely wounded and shot several times in Afghanistan. He has received multiple surgeries to save his life and he underwent a multitude of surgeries there as well.  He  will have many more months of rehab, physical therapy, and the possibility of more surgeries ahead. He will not be able to come home for several months.

Katie is caring for him while hospitalized,  and had to leave her 2 precious boys in Florida so she can be there for her husband. Katie's sweet mom took leave and flew to Florida to care for the boys while Katie is in D.C. helping him recover from his injuries.

During this time Katie is not working and her mom isn’t either. She could use our help to offset expenses that she is facing while being displaced. Lowering the financial burden while her husband is trying to recover would help reduce stress for this family. Please continue to keep this family in your thoughts and prayers!
