Don protégé
My name is Adam Zipkin, and recently my dear friend Martha Medina suffered a serious stroke. Martha is a 35 year old single mother with two beautiful daughers -- Nicole (Age 14) and Aaliyah (Age 12).
June 23rd started off like any other day for Martha until she began to have a bad headache, and the next thing she knew she was in the hospital with a brain aneurysm that ruptured and released blood around her brain. Martha was in the Intensive Care Unit for two weeks and the stroke left her paralyzed on the right side of her body and unable to walk.
Prior to the stroke, Martha was self-employed as a cleaning lady but she now faces many months of physical therapy before she hopefully makes a full recovery and will be able to walk and work again.
I am starting this campaign in order to raise money to cover living expenses for Martha and her daughters (and dogs, Harper and Dixie!) and for unreimbursed costs of physical therapy and other medical expenses.
