Marta's Recovery Fund

My sister was diagnosed with stage 3 cervical cancer today. My family and I are devastated and in shock given the horrific news. She has been in and out of the ER with problems since May, and we finally got to the bottom of it today. We met with the oncologist this afternoon, and he is feeling very hopeful that it is contained in her cervix and lymp nodes has not spread throughout her body. She will begin a very aggressive treatment plan over the next eight weeks, and we ask for your thoughts and prayers throughout this difficult process.

 

Marta is the kindest, most generous, loving, funny, beautiful person you will ever meet. I know many of you have a special place in your heart for her and I am hoping we can all pull together to help. 

 

Unfortunately, the procedures she has been through recently have amounted to a sum that she cannot afford. Let alone the medical bills that will be coming along the way. I am hoping to raise as much as I can to help my sister recover from this financially. I know in my heart she will be able to walk away from this healthy and strong.
